One is in downtown Lafayette, Indiana...called &quot;The Dingaling&quot;. They have fun yarns, but not a very extensive accessory selection. The retail area takes up the entire downstairs of an old Victorian. It's such a charming space. The upstairs is used for workshops. 			<description><![CDATA[ does no one live in maryland or the metro dc area??  i was living in baltimore last year, but am now in washington.<br><br>baltimore has a couple of decent shops.  my favorite is a good yarn in fells point.  the proprietrix is a bit...shall we say 'opinionated'?, but she's very knowledgeable and has really great stuff.  she's very insistent that all 'real' knitters learn to knit continental style and claims that she often has to re-teach people who learned at other yarn shops.  she also isn't... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ The best LYS is Luff, in Norman, Oklahoma on Campus Corner.  Very hip and casual, more modern than other stores.  The owner is 26 and fun!  She is very knowledgeable and extremely encouraging.  It is a pretention-free, touchy-feely (as in, you can play with the yarn, not each other!), browse-all-you-want kind of joint.<br><br>It's a must-shop. ]]></description>
